After holding several Glocks equipped with patches of "skateboard tape" applied to the grip, I think I would like to try this on my G34 game gun.

Looking through Midway, etc, I see panels manufactured by a company called "Decal grips".

I also remember the owner of one of the guns I mentioned before said that he bought a roll of some kind of skateboard tape and cut the panels out himself because it was a lot cheaper, but he has to replace them on a quasi-regular basis due to the adhesive wearing out.

What is everyone's preferred method here? Thanks,

Go to the hardware store and pick up some 3M Safewalk. It's $2 a foot, and a foot will do about 10 GLOCKs. Good stuff--I've had it on mine for 3 years or more and it's still going strong.

I believe it was also 3M that makes black tape that comes in 2 1/2"" rolls for ladders or 'steps' that lasts for several months on mine and my son's guns. This is an 'aggressive' tape. Bought it either Lowe's, Home Depot or McCoy's Lumber. I can't rem which..

I use cardboard termplates to trace my patterns on the backing of the tape and then cut them out with an EXacto-type knife or scissors. The whole process takes maybe 15-20 mins.
