On a hour long interview with Alex Jones, Cody Wilson of Defense Distributed states that they will be releasing files for a functional, completely 3D printed pistol, within a month.

Cody states "We have found some ways to make printable guns work."

Defense Distributed has already shown that they can make workable, usable magazines and lower receivers. This will be the first completely printable firearm.

Expectations are not high, but Cody Wilson believes that it will be capable of a few shots before it becomes inoperable.

It will be a modern day Liberator pistol, delivered by the internet rather than air dropped.

It is a fascinating interview to watch, but it takes an hour!

If you have an hour to spare, it is much better than most TV shows.

I wonder when this "printer" technology will encompass vapor deposition or laser-impact welding ? The we have metal firearms that last ! >MW

This is the first Alex Jones interview that I have watched.

After this, I may pay more attention to him.

3D printing is completely new to me. Are there any good links on YouTube to see/better understand how/what is involved? I saw one show on TLC? once but they didn't give a very good explanation.

This is very good.

Once they mix it with flatspray MIM tech, we won't be able to be tyrannized anymore.

I love this company more and more everyday, and long for the day I can afford the printer and the compounds they use.

*yearn*

Huh, that was faster than I thought. I thought for sure it'd be another six months before a disposable pistol was made. I'm sure it still requires metallic bits. We're probably a year or so off from (or should I say six months off) a fully functional plastic firearm at the rate this tech is being developed. Juuuust in time

Bloomberg's gonna "print" a brick when he gets wind of this! :D
