I'm really wanting to try and take my shooting skills to another level. Plus... I want to become more efficient at all the tactical handgun skills as well. What are some of the most popular, if not best, training facilities currently available in this country. The two websites that stand out at this point are "FrontSite" & "Gunsite Academy".

What state are you in? I haven't managed to tease out a list of schools for every state yet, and if I haven't gotten to yours I could try to get it listed next...

If you live in Nashville, I'd suggest Tactical Response in Camden and Rangemaster in Memphis. I do not have direct experience with either, but both are highly regarded.

I'd suggest http://www.guntactics.com/ .

Randy doesn't seem to have any classes scheduled close to home so far this year, but I'd check with Cumberland Tactics to see if anything was in the works if I were you. Randy is one of the best instructors working these days, he just doesn't get a lot of fanfare. He worked at Gunsite for several years, teaching for Cooper.

These are both good options. I've trained with both of them. I have had one class with Tactical Response and multiple with Rangemaster/Tom Givens.

I live in Nashville, TN.
i also suggest Tactical Response, I have taken 2 handgun courses from them and i will be back in the future. www.tacticalresponse.com will take you to thier training site with descriptions and class schedule.

www.tacticalresponsegear.com will take you to thier on line gear store. (they also have one at the school, which is awesome, and the Home of the best gear made. OSOE.

www.getoffthex.com will take you to thier on-line disscusion forums where you can talk with lik minded folks as well as read aar's for every course, and hear what people think.

i have trained at other places as well. Ie ICE with Rob Pincus, and if you ever have a chance do train with him.

I have been other places as well, but i think that Tactical Response would be the best bet for you, as it is close, also they have a "team room" which you can stay at which cost nothing, so with low travel and no lodging cost, and awesome staff and training there is nothing to loose. (oh yeah that have a 100% gurantee that you will be satisfied or your money back)
