On another topic, I don't understand it when these folks refer to the Bush administration (or most likely, Bush himself) as a dictator. I like the guy and I think he is doing a wonderful job. Ashcroft, I am not so crazy about. Anyway, what is the administration doing that is so upsetting to these folks? I know they have their pantied in a bunch over the tax cut and "homeland security" but I think we are ALL concerned about that, Democrats and republicans alike. Like I have always said, they would rather have an immoral, philandering, dishonest sneak in the office as long as it serves them versus and honest man that knows how to stand up to BS. Makes me ill to go over there and read anything...

They call him a dictator because they can't accept that he actually DID win the election, according to the rules. They think that the Supreme court stole the election for him. You just can't get them to accept that all the Supreme court did was to stop the Florida supreme court from stealing the election for Gore, by attempting to change election laws after the votes were already cast.

I hope to god that the next Presidential election isn't anywhere near close, because I think the Dems are just *this* close to openly refusing to conceed the legitimacy of elections they lose. (They already think that way privately, a lot of them.) I think that if Bush wins another squeaker, they might just have him assasinated.

That's what's fueling a lot of their obstruction on judicial nominations. They think that the only guy who actually has any right to be appointing judges is Gore.
