Bought a used BG380 (no history), thought the barrel just needed some cleaning. After scrubbing it with powder solvent let it soak overnight in Kroil then scrubbed it again, it still looks dirty. Is lead and copper my problem?

Looks like lead to me.

Get copper Chore Boy scouring pad. Wrap a piece around a worn bore brush. Dip in solvent and scrub, scrub, scrub.

+1 on lead. The tried and true way to remove lead is a Lewis Lead Remover available from Brownells and Midway (if they are not on back order ). I use a piece of copper window screen over a jag and patch. The Lewis is a piece of copper screen too, just finer than what I use.

Lewis Lead Removers do work really well. When I was shooting a lot of cast stuff through a .45 and a .38, I used the LLR all the time. No waiting around for chemicals to work.
