Do any of you draw pictures of firearms?

I can't claim to be TheWiryIrishman, but I can claim the classic handguns drawing. :D

And you are correct, sir. Drawn from my favorite big-frame Smith. I have a larger version I'm working on, though it may take some time.

In regards to the steel version, I dearly love mine.

I just noticed this thread, and while I don't do artwork of firearms alone, I have done a few graphite pencil drawings of our service personnel.
I did this one for a co-worker of my wife---it's a portrait of his son who was serving in Iraq a year or two ago, and there IS a bit of an M4 in it:

He got a big kick out of it. We moved not long afterward and lost contact with him. When I look at this photo I took of the portrait, I always wonder if his son made it back okay.
I sure hope so.

Well, after reviewing that Bugs cartoon (thank you FCFC) I guess I got the drawing of the gun, actually shooting, mixed up with another one of the thousand+ looney tunes I watched as a kid.....and occasionally still ;)

Sorry, i must have seen the name above it. I have a question about your m1917 though. Is the rifling on your handgun pretty shallow for a handgun? Mine is, and i read somewhere that its because it was intended for shooting military ammunition and for some reason that helped. Im not sure though.

Mine's in storage at the moment but I seem to recall the grooves being fairly shallow. It's not a match gun by any stretch of the imagination - then again, I always figured minute-of-milk-jug was probably adequate for the intended use.

I do CAD and I do glass etch and I do pencil.

I have no gun draws yet, but I have seen some nice work here.

Keep it up.

P.S.

Let me edit... I was drawing the M16 (AR) in junior high.

I don't have any drawings to prove it, but if I did one now, I bet it would rock.
