Skipping to the important stuff... a .22 is just about the most all around useful gun there is.

Now, about this bunch o' guns stuff. Gee, I wish I'd sold some guns years ago and invested the money in Enron stock.

I cant imagine only having 12 gun's . I figure Id slow down around 300 or so , take an inventory and see if their was anything Id missed . Heck there are a dozen configurations of AR-15's Id like to have . Just 12 in each caliber wouldn't be to bad . :D

Now all you guys have got me droolin'. I can see myself owning a dozen or more, although my other half can't see me affording another six or seven. At the moment it's only these

FEG PJK-9HP
S&W686 .357
Marlin 336C in .35 Rem.
Rem 870 12 Ga.
Marlin Glenfield Single shot .22LR(tack driver)

Maybe two or three more...later

Easier to ask forgiveness than it is to ask permission.:D

Eee gads! I just realized I've got an unlucky number... 13. Guess its time to buy another. :) Besides that, being a bass guitar player, we all know that bigger is better.

In this case more is definitely better! :)

I was more than half way and rapidly closing in on the 16 that I wanted until this weekend when a guy at the range let me shoot his AR with a custom upper chambered for .50AE. HOLY COW!!!!! That was alot of fun. That thing makes VERY big holes. Now I'll have to go for 17...

I could see myself with more than a dozen Beretta guns -- more still if I move and can buy H&K....

LOL...Mastro when I saw your name there I was thinking..."Now her, I can see her just having over a dozen Beretta 92's...." :D

Youngsters!

Passed that point long ago!

Knew a guy who's father owned a coal mine, when he passed away, his gun collection numbered over 4000!

A dozen guns huh? I remember when I had a dozen guns... it was sometime in the early '90s...*sigh*

Notice the pensive far-off look in my eyes... *maybe I need another .44?*

QuarterBoreGunner has 'seen the elephant' and survived. He's tactical enough.

One night at the 12-step program:

"Hi...my name is QuarterBore...and I have a problem."

*in unison* "Hi QuarterBore!"

"I...uhm...this is difficult for me...I can't stop collecting Smith & Wesson revolvers... it started with a minty '50s vintage pre-Model 10... then it was J-frames. My friends all told me to get some help, or at least branch out to Colts or Rugers. But it was no use...I was hooked. Model 27s? Three of them... Model 29s *sniff* I HAD to have one of those didn't I? I remember once driving two hours to look at NIB Model 53 in .22/.22 Jet. Then it was an endless parade of .357s...all colors, frames and barrel lengths.

I know now that I need help. Help to find a nice Model 57 in .41 Magnum...with the 8 3/8 inch barrel."

I can stop anytime I want to. Really.

lessee,,,

8 right now, guess theres a couple more i could probably use but the wallet says, "noooooo"

:D

lmao @ quarter,

My minimum, if I really had to trim down my collection:

Dan Wesson 22 Revolver
KelTec P32
S&W 686
Springfield Stainless Loaded Target 1911
As-Of-Yet-Unobtained Karh P9 Covert
As-Of-Yet-Unobtained Kimber 22lr
Winchester 70 Coyote in 243
Ruger M77 in 25-06
Remington 870

I'd really hate to get rid of my EAA Silver Team, but I could
I'd really hate to get rid of my Taurus PT99, but I could
I'd really hate to get rid of my Winchester 70 HVB 308, but I could
I'd really hate to get rid of my 700ADL in 270, but I could
I'd really hate to get rid of my 1911s, but I could
I'd really hate to get rid of my Enfields, but I could

....it's been said "Guns are like Sex....you can never get enough!".......if you want to limit yourself to 12,...eeer...ummm....guns, well go right ahead.....

I started out at fourteen-- Got a WIN 12ga Mdl#25 -- a 4-10 Mossberg and Win 22 Bolt and A JP Saur SAA. Then I got a Python-- 1972--$151.00 retail--

Kept going from there --
Then After about fifteen years in LE --Mostly doing patrol and firearms training I got sick of 'em--
Reminded me of work--
So to my way of thinking I got out of guns--
Still had a Duty gun--My python-- a PPC Bull barrell--Win Mdl #25--A 22--an 870 -- an AMT BU--NAA mini pocket gun--
So when I though I was completely OUT of the firearms hobby I still had 8 guns-- Those were just work and house guns --required tools --

Then I got back into it as my youngest son developed an interest--
I hit just over 200 then--mostly S&W--

Then I got divorced -- got shot -- became a CPA --
Down to about 50 now--
Probably won't go much lower -- unless I have to get rid of "assault" weapons-- I now live in Illinois----
:barf:

17 and counting . . .

Folks, you can never have too many guns, too much ammunition, or too many knives.
