A perfect situation for the "Nike defense?"

ETA: "Nike defense" = run away, run away. As opposed to the "Michelin defense"- drive away.

Robber sprays gasoline on beer store clerk

CBC News
Saskatoon police are searching for a robber who sprayed gasoline around the inside of a beer store — including on the clerk — and made a threat with a lighter.
It happened about 1:30 a.m Friday, when a man carrying a gas container walked into a cold beer and wine store on Diefenbaker Drive and demanded money from clerk Dustin Gelsinger.
"He just pours this fluid on me," Gelsinger told CBC. "I don't know what it is. I smell gasoline instantly. He says 'Do you want to get burned?' So I just flee out right away and he takes like a grand [$1,000]."
Gelsinger, 19, said everything happened so quickly he didn't have time to think. But he was frightened and only later did he realize how serious it could have been.
"I don't think I am going to work here any more," he said. "I think I'm done with this place."
The suspect was about five-foot-six, wore dark clothing, glasses, a tuque and a scarf over his face, police said.
