The "Ludus Magnus" Team colors are two-toned. Some form of tan (FDE, coyote etc) and black. My Ar is tan and black, so is my jeep. I like carrying black guns and mags in coyote mag pouches etc. So why not make two-toned holsters? I have never seen anyone in the industry do it, so I figured I would.

Possum, I really do want to purchase a holster or two from you. I presently need a OWB strongside holster for a Browning Highpower, a CZ 75 and a 4" pencil barrel Smith Model 64. Do you have the ability/interest in making a holster for one or all of these handguns?

I would love to help you. So you know the ones that you asked about before I can not get the blue guns for. As for these I can get one for a HP, and possibly the cz75. I will get back to you on the cz75.

I would be interested in one but I dont know if yourself or I could source the blue guns for an FNP9.

sheepdog,
1st a foremost great screen name.

2ndly. I will check and see if I can find it at the place that I get my blue guns.

Not to pee in your pool, but Secret City, Personal Security Systems, and Cane & Derby all make dual color holsters.

That said, looks good! What's your reasoning for using the rubber washers between the screw post and belt loop? I put mine between the loop and holster body to give a little flex to lessen strain on the loop as well as provide tension to the fasteners.

I see lots of 2-toned leather ones, from lots of manufacturers. I have a couple.
I meant kydex.

I have only heard of Cane and derby, and the ony 2 tone I have seen from them was blaze orange on the back, and that just seems strange. additionally this post was made before i knew of cane and derby. The way that I found out about them was through Todd Greene of pistol-training.com

Thank you. Honestly that is the way that I have done it from the beginning. When I first started that was what I thought would be best. I have had no issues with the loops breaking, and used in this fashion it makes it very stable. I guess it is one of those things that I have never thought about doing it the other way..... like if it isn't broke don't fix it kinda thing.

Though I am always looking to make things better, and appreciate any feedback that i can get. I use many people, companies, and orgs to test out my stuff. I am not easy on my gear either, constantly training and running the gear. So far I have had no complaints. I have done work for 2 training companies, 2 Executive protection companies, some stuff for Border Patrol agents, as well as some influential people in the training industry.

I am not going to discuss why and how my stuff is different in comparison to the above mentioned people. additionally I will not discredit or bash anyone that is trying to run a business especially someone in the holster business. There are lots of people out there that make holsters and gear. For every company that you do not want to do business with there are 10 more that are options. It is great to have the freedom, and the ability in the US to get the stuff you need and make a business.

I wish and hope the best for them all. As I stated above, I have a client base, and it continues to grow. I am really not worried about other companies. I never intended this to be a way of life or a living for me. This is something that I use to pay my habit, to allow me to shoot and train as I wish. I am not going to try to take anything away form anyone else.

personal security systems
ships in 70 days or they pay the shipping. Wow that is a long time to wait. However that is better than the "other" people (wait time) and you won't see many others pay shipping.

Secret City
this looks like leather holsters. I didn't see any kydex on their website. My mistake for not making it clear in the original post that I was speaking about kydex.

The 2 tone thing has been a big hit, and I have sold lots of it. These other companies that sell 2 toned might do just that, but everyone that has bought form me does not know of these other places. That might be a marketing issue. I am in the holster business and I didn't even know they existed my customers surely didn't either. They have been a big hit, and continue to be, however that is a very small cross section of what I am doing overall. Just did a clinch pic and reverse cant mag pouch combo for someone, and just released my MMA holster. Life is good.
