Dollar Value on Portuguese G3

Curious only. Never gonna part with this weapon.

Bought Portuguese G3 with stanag mount and hensoldt scope at show. Guy was desperate. $600.

Did my research and found these were made by INDEP in Portugal but imported by Century. Confirmed, this is NOT a Century weapon, only a Century import.

Curious as to how well I did. Good deal, great deal, fair?

It has all green furniture to include bipod.

Estimate from those who know?

You bought a military factory made G3 with a good scope. I would say you did VERY well! Pictures Please!!

Wouldn't a "real" G3 (non-clone) be select fire/ full auto?

This Hensoldt and Stanag Claw came with the weapon as did the case. I'll be glad to sell it to you for far less than $1000 if are convinced you can't get one for less.

The Centry monkeys however had to convert the rifle to semi-auto, modify trigger housing....so yes a CAI build. Seems kinda high now days. Be best to try it out first.

That looks like the Hensoldt Model 2. Can the reticle be illuminated?

I have one like that with scope as well. Mine is stamped xG3S FMP. Dated 03/89.

I paid more that double that amount with NO SCOPE. Purchased the scope and claw a year latter for $300.
