Duty Revolvers

One more duty pistol out of Utah. A few years ago a large sheriff's department in that state dumped a huge number of 15s on the used market and dealers were just about giving them away. Most were blued but a few in nickel were available and I had the distributor send me this one. It was about 99% and I added the fake pearl stocks for pizzaz.

I know that autos are more practical and better fighting handguns but there is just something about a police revolver that has more character.

thatguy: The Utah Model 27 is one beautiful, classic revolver. I have a friend who describes revolvers as guns having souls and autos as tools without heart. A little esoteric for me but I got his point. Those old Smith N frames had souls!

Here's my SFPD M58, and a dao K38-which is from a retired policeman out of Palm Springs. Hopefully my 1st pict post will suceed.
