I am not happy with my SPR-100s or the cutomer service from E.A.A. . Should I just get a Benelli Nova or Super Nova? I want one gun that will do it all. I like the 20 Gauge, is there a combo set in 20? Thanks.

Skip the plastic receiver Benelli and get a Remington 870 Express or Mossberg 500. Either of the American made pumps will cost less and extra barrels (not mention every other part your heart desires) are far more readily available, and far less expensive than for the Italian gun.

I've also seen a Benelli Nova that a customer dropped while hunting and stepped on as it fell, cracking the butt stock. This wouldn't be such a big deal except that the stock is integral to the Nova's receiver. So, we had to send the gun off to Benelli who replaced it, but it was a new gun with a new serial number, so the customer had to go through the paperwork and background check just like a new purchase.

The Super Novas at least have separate stocks & receivers. However, for the price of a Super Nova alone you could buy an 870 or a 500 plus an extra barrel. The Benellis are nice, but the Remington & Mossberg offerings are a better buy to me.

If I'm not mistaken the SPR-100 is imported by Remington, not EAA.

I think EAA is the importer, Remington is just resopnsible for sales and marketing.

All the repairs are being done by EAA.

The importer address on Spartans was, last time I checked, was in the same Florida town as EAA. Before the Spartan line cameout, the same shotguns were imported EAA and marketed under the Baikal trademark.
