just curious what people carry for an EDC knife. I personally carry a Byrd Cara cara. I was considering a spyderco Delica but the Byrd was just so much cheaper and still high quality. As a side note if people are interested in knives you should check out Nutnfancys page on youtube. he also has a ton of gun reviews. http://www.youtube.com/user/nutnfancy

Any number of folders. My most-carried ever are a Wenger version of a Tinker, I think, a Case Medium Stockman, and a Kershaw JYD.

I carry a Gerber Multi-Tool as I find it more useful than a knife. As a back up I carry a Gerber 3-inch folder ( most often used to slice apples)

My main three are a Native, a Griptilian and an Endura. I like them all, and I carry them all, but if I had to pick a favorite, I might lean towards the endura.

It's my newest knife, so there is a little bias to it, but I find myself carrying it more and more simply because I like the simplicity of design. I actually prefer the blade shape and axis lock on my Grip, but the Endura gives me a larger blade shape in a much slimmer package. Whatever. Like I say, I like all three. Also, I carry a Victronix Super Tinker in my bag for utility purposes.

A carry a couple different Enduras, a Pacific Salt, a Tasman Salt, sometimes a full-sized manix, and sometimes the beautiful Perrin Street Beat.

I usually have the Leatherman Charge TTi on my belt.

I carry a Kershaw 1660ckt and a Leatherman Wave, and like them both.

A Becker Necker and a Victorinox Hiker are my EDC combo.

I ,too, own a Cara Cara. It is a good knife.

Victorinox classic SD on keyring, Victorinox bantam in pocket of jeans.

Sometimes there may be a small lightweight lockblade around, like a Gerber LST or Spyderco lady bug.

Usually a large-ish folder (Benchmade Skirmish, Emerson Commander, Spyderco Police, or similar) and a slipjoint.

I normally like to go with the Kershaw Blur or the Spyderco Endura as regular EDC blades.

I like the extra grippiness of the handle, especially on the Blur, or the large finger ramp and jimping on the Endura. I been looking at the Spyderco Tenacious too as a larger EDC blade but haven't gotten around to buying one yet.

Occasionally when I have to give presentations, meetings and all that horrible stuff and dress up smarter. I can throw my Kershaw Leek on the inside pocket of my jacket out of the way. I hate having to do such things, but it comes as part of the job. :(

When I am doing more of my normal everyday work though I tend to stick with a Swiss Tool X nowadays, that I just have on my belt or clip it to a carabiner with the lanyard loop.

I really like the Kershaw Scallion series of knives. I have had a couple of them and they are great general use knives. Not made for really tough work but they are good for everyday carry.
