Ever swallowed a live round?

I like to use that as an example of why you need different types of props- your blank fire, your rubber stunt version, maybe a cheap airsoft version so you have the moving parts on one that's softer, lighter, and cheaper, maybe a gas-blowback if you're working at point blank, places you can't make as much noise, etc...

If you really want to eat live rounds, I'd recommend short ammo (max lenght 1") with FMJ bullets.

Lead poisoning is quite undesirable!

While we're talking silly flashy moves... there's a Japanese zombie-yakuza-samurai (yeah, it gets strange) movie called "Versus" with lots of gratuitous gunplay. At one point the hero has a gun in each hand (probably some type of 1911, since he likes those), and he kicks a gun into the air out of a zombie's hand. He puts one of his handguns into his mouth, pirate-style, grabs the gun out of the air, fires it off, then drops it and goes to use the gun in his mouth.

Yes, that's supposed to be a semi-auto .454

And that ends up being his 'backup' gun as he gets a bigger one.

Sorry to be kind of offtopic, but Hellsing is a GREAT anime. I did have one heck of a time convincing my college friend that he did not have enough money to have a semi auto 454 made, althought that would be quite a fun little toy, especially a pair like he has in the anime.
