Does anyone have any experience about how the Docter Sight holds up to the recoil when sitting on the top of a pistol slide?
Example
Some say they are good, while others say those types of sights fall apart.
I don't believe some of them, as they probably have not even shot a gun with a Docter, so those who have, please tell me about it.

Where can I find a Doctor sight for sale? I'd like to have a Glock top-end set up for Open, and this sight looks like a good lo-mount option, but don't know who can supply one.

I've got a shooting buddy who's got one on a 1911 and another on a Thompson. He had the plastic one (from Tasco?) first but didn't care much fo that one so he got the Doctor and liked it so much he bought another and mounted it on his Thompson.

I have a Docter mounted on a CZ75b and it works just great..Also
have Optima's on several other guns and have had no problems
with those either..Must say the Docter is a better made but it should be for the price..Compared with the tasco it has a much brighter dot,in dim light the tasco seems to get lost..
Would I buy another ??? YES !!!

Great service at Arizona Gun Runners also.. Might also find them at EGW..

I have been told that the early Docter sights had problems..The current production is supposed to be very good..
As stated in an earlier post I am pleased with the one I have and
if the need should arise will buy another..
