Tinker2, The Italian database that I utilize only lists "fara" as "IT" (Italian) under its listing of: Tradenames and Brands of Guns and Gunsmakers.
You're fortunate that it's clearly listed as such and that you don't have to try to guess if the letters represent the initials of a registered Italian gunsmith.
