What's your favorite powder and load recipe for accurate .32 H&R loads?
I've got a Ruger Single Six with 5.5" barrel in. 32 H&R and I really don't know where to start. What bullet weight? Powder? Etc.

Doing well with 100 gr lead and 3.5 gr AA#5. It was a challenge measuring AA#5 in that small a volume, so I bought the mini charge bar (not from Lee) for the Lee AutoDisk.

For jacketed, I use 85 gr XTP and 3.3 gr Red Dot.

I've been shooting the 100 gr Rimrock bullet (lead) over a lite load of Win 231 and have had good accuracy with minimal recoil. BTW, I'm shooting a couple of Smiths and an older SP101. If you're interested, Rimrock is running free shipping on orders over $100.00 thru the end of March.

Bullseye under Rainier 100gr copper plated bullet. Bullseye meters well in small charges and the powder volume is large enough to throw with a Lee Autodisk.

A good plinker for me is 3.2 gr hp-38 with a MBC 100 gr cowboy #6.

This isn't out of a manual I have so use at your own risk.

How timely - I just loaded up some of that exact bullet with 3.5 gr. of W231 (same as HP-38) last night. Depending upon how they shoot, I may back off to your 3.2 grains.
Thanks.

You should be fine with that load.

I went that high (little higher) but settled at 3.2 as the most consistently accurate load, they just feel right. I shoot these out of 327 FMs.
