I have struggled finding guns I like, especially handguns. Handguns happen to be my favorite type of gun (out of rifle, shotgun, and handguns). I have had a 1911, a cz/jericho .40, a glock 23, a springfield xd. I have shot a lot of other handguns like beretta's and some surplus ones. I figured out I love slim guns, guns with extensive military and civillian use, and ones that are affordable, I love having an easy to grab slide and a plethora of after market parts at my disposal. I just went to the gun store today to weed out the last of my favorites and after much trial and tribulation through the years I have found my favorite handguns:

Browning hi powers
Full size glocks (17, 22, and 20/21 sf's)
Walther's PPS
and the 1911

I think these are the best handguns and as of right now the only one's I want to have. Unfortunatly I have no handguns right now so I am trying to get all of these and maybe some multiples.

What are yours? Please post many pictures!

Top is my Prized Yost Colt 70 Series 45acp, then Ed Brown Executive Carry 45acp, thenCustom Delta Elite 10mm by Chuck Warner(another Prize) and last but not least colt LW Commander in 38 Super. IMG_2470.gif

Couple of Browning Hi Powers and a Les Baer Thunder Ranch special. Three of my favorites.

Im gonna post my favorite gun for the past 1.5 years and is my main CCW 80% of the time except hot summer days. This is one of the last pics i took of it before i sent it to the refinishers to be parkerized and KG GunKote applied in satin black.

Its a Taurus PT1911 frame/slide/barrel and everything else is high end aftermarket replacement parts from Wilson/Baer/Brown and everything replaced from the pins too the springs and everything in between, And as you can also see the billboards were sanded off the slide and a carry bevel/melt job was performed. Its missing a shot of the Baer machined recoil spring plug that was sent to the refinisher after the photo was taken. Not one single MIM part remains in this gun.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, And while most will may find it ugly in this pic i find it beautiful knowing what it will come home in the next few weeks and look like.
You really have to love a gun to put so much time and money into a gun that is only worth $350 trade-in despite how much is invested. Silly is an understatement, But this gun will never leave my possession as thats why i did it. I could have bought a semi custom for what i paid to do all this.
