I am Planning on starting a rifle build soon and find myself in need of a good place to do ffl transfers. Does anyone have an inexpensive place, preferably in sw Houston? I would certainly appreciate it!

You only need an FFL for ONE piece.

The action with a serial number.

Everything else is just 'parts.'

Check out houstongunforum.com out on Steubner just north of 1960. If you donate to the forum they do transfers for $5, otherwise it's $10 each. I don't know of anyone else who comes close to that price.

Check out http://www.bestshotrange.com/ It is located in Friendswood near I-45.

"We also handle FFL transfers from gun dealers. We charge $30 for transfers paid in cash or $35 for transfers paid with credit card, and the cost of the transfer include one Free Range Pass for that day, a $14 value! Each additional firearm for transfer is $10."

Martini Hardware is good, $20 transfer, and a great old fashioned hardware store to boot!

713 926-7466 They are on Lawndale east of I-45 between downtown and the south loop.

Not sure what side of town your on but as mention by medalguy houstongunforum.com is a good place.
I have done a ffl transfer with Ryan and he's a good guy.

Damn good price... too bad it would cost me 50 bucks in fuel to save a little bit of money... lol

My FFL only charges me 10 bucks since I am a repeat customer...However, the last transfer he did for me, he didnt even want to charge me. I insisted since it does take a few mins of computer time.
