After reading her replies to "Dale" it's obvious she is coated with clue-teflon or more sadly willfully ignorant and unwilling to acknowledge she's wrong.

I mean really, it's things like her stating, and I quote: "that is the fault of gun users who hide their gun use" to blame the 'skewed' statistics she chose to highlight.

Her further clinging to false statements like, and again I quote: "The stats as they exist now – and I have minimal evidence to refute them – show that gun ownership is more likely to result in a suicide or accident than in stopping a crime."

I'm not sure you'll sway her or anybody that reads her "blog".

Sometimes stereotypes really cut to the truth the best; and I quote: R_____ K______ is a DC area mom with an over-developed sense of irreverence, socialist tendencies, a cable news addiction, and a blog. Rebekah has an undergraduate degree in theatre and Master’s in Arts Policy and Administration and a decade of experience managing arts organizations and advocating in the public health sector.

But all that notwithstanding, someone like her would be SO SURPRISED to learn that the people she sees every day; the shopkeeper, the pizza man, the cabbie, her friend down the street, etc. are ALREADY CARRYING and she has no idea. Why? Because we are a safe people. We care about the rule of law. We care about our social fabric. We carry in order to keep it sane.
And at the end of the day, nobody but nobody is making me and my family get in the back of a truck. Ms. R__ K___ can rely on us to protect her too, so she shouldn't be so cavalier about villainizing us.

Soapbox over; Optimus out.
