Can someone post a link for firearms talk radio time slot scheduling on Serius Satellite Radio. I've heard it on occasion on the Patriot Channel. Not sure of the program title, might be GunTalk.

If you don't have a link just post when the program is on and your time zone. I've caught snippets and want to tune in right at start time. Are there any other firearms related shows on Serius?

Additionally I've got the TV schedule down pretty good watching some G&A TV, American Rifleman TV and Shoot More Often, any other good TV programs people are watching?

Anyone think G&A is abit informercially?

Hey James,

I like Shooting Gallery, but never heard of PD TV, what channel is that one on, air times?

PD TV airs on the Outdoor Channel. It's hosted by Tom Gresham, also of G&A.

My new DVR from Direct TV crashed, and I can't do a search right now.

I believe the first series episodes just ended, but they will soon be re-running them on the Outdoor Channel.

It's a great show dealing with all kinds of personal defense issues.

Thanks again James,

Here I've had my DVR all set up for G&A, AmerRiflmn TV for a few months now and didn't even know there was a PDTV, looks like they are running the reruns of the first thirteen episodes so I've got the DVR adjusted accordingly to record them as well.

Gresham does the guntalk radio and I've discovered he broadcasts from just up the road in my home state!

2-5 EST Sundays on Serius.

I think you're talking about NRA News Cam and Company which is on Monday through Saturday 9pm-midnight EST on Sirius Patriot channel 144.

Cam & Company from NRANews.com
Monday to Saturday 9 pm - Mid ET
Join host Cam Edwards for breaking stories and coverage of current events plus lively debate and discussion with lawmakers and newsmakers engaged in the battle to preserve American freedoms. Call the talk-back line at 1.866.NRA.NEWS and watch the webcast at NRANews.com.

There is also, Gun Talk Sunday 2pm-5pm EST on Sirius Patriot channel 144.

Gun Talk
Sundays 2 pm - 5 pm ET
Tom Gresham's Gun Talk Gun Talk features high-powered intellectual ammunition on guns, crime, politics, the Second Amendment, hunting, and competitive and recreational shooting. Call Tom at 866.TALK.GUNS (1.866.825.5486)

LBTRS has the times and shows correct above. To add, I used to listen to Cam and Company when they had their 3 pm time slot then Sirius (idiots) up and changed them to "prime time"...didn't get to catch any of their 9pm - 12 am shows.

However, Santa was good this year and provided a Sirius Stilleto (sp) radio which can record and replay programs (like a Tivo)...greatest thing since sliced bread. I've got 5 of the Cam and Company shows saved up and can listen to them at my leisure now.

If you're serious about firearms and have Sirius programming their show is a *must listen* ;)

Cam and Company isa fun show but don't listen if you want to hear all about the latest new guns that are out. Their show is more about gun politics, and freedom related issues.

Cacique,

Congrats on the new Sirius for Christmas! Glad to see you'll be able to listen once again.

And thanks for the kind words from everyone else about Cam and Company. Just a thought: would y'all like me to post something here at THR about upcoming guests we have on the show? We do produce a show tease every day, but I'm more than willing to post something here if you think it would be helpful in letting you know what things we'll be talking about on the show each night.

Cam

I for one would think that would be helpful.

Now I just need to bail out of my XM and get Serious.

Hello Cam and welcome to THR. That would be great if you'd list your upcoming guests. Just glad I can hear you guys again...it was a tough 6 months or so to go 'without' :D

Cam,

Welcome to THR! Enjoy the show and have Sirius in every vehicle and at work so I can catch your show where ever I'm at. Wish they would not have moved your time slot though.

Keep up the great job!

Thanks everyone. I don't want to spam the board, so I'll just start a thread called "Coming Up on Cam and Company" and update it every day.

Thanks for the tips! I got a Sirius for Christmas, haven't checked out the talk channels much though.

Well this thread has been invaluable to me, also. I bought the wife Sirius for Christmas. I'll be tuning into Cam at my computer at night. Thanks, guys and thank you, Cam, in advance for the info.:D

Well, he's not on Sirius, but I wanted to take the opportunity to shamelessly plug a local program, done by a guy I know: Liberty Watch Radio/America Armed & Free.

Program info & downloadable recent shows: http://www.libertywatchradio.com/listen

Listen live to Liberty Watch on the internet, Sunday noon to 2 PM Mountain Standard, 2 to 4 PM Central Daylight, 3 to 5 PM Eastern Daylight, at http://kvoi.com/listenlive.php

If you are looking for "Gun Talk" on Sirius and XM, it's a bit confusing.

Sirius runs the show live, which is from 2:00pm til 5:00pm Eastern time, on Sundays.

That's on channel 144 -- the same channel Cam and Company is on each weekday night.

On XM, though, Gun Talk is delayed three hours, so it runs from 5:00pm until 8:00pm Eastern time, on Sundays.

You can also get the MP3 files of Gun Talk from Apple's iTunes Store (it's free), or just go to www.guntalk.com and click on LISTEN to find the links for the archived shows. Download and listen when you want to.

Last Sunday I did the broadcast live from the SHOT Show, with a long string of guests talking about what's new. That show is ready for download now.

Cam does a great job with his show.

Tom,

Sorry I missed you at SHOT Show. I was hoping to stick around until Sunday but I had to get back to the wife and kids. For some reason she thought that me and thousands of guns was a vacation, not work. :D

And for those who don't listen to Gun Talk every weekend, DO IT. Tom is an example for all of us 2nd Amendment activists, and it's a great radio show to boot.

Tom,

Are you a Minnesotan, I saw that there was a Brainerd, Minnesota connection somewhere on the website.

I highly recommend the PodCast of Gun Talk. I heard this week's episode today while at work, good stuff. It is hard not to envy Tom when you hear that he knows everyone who is anyone in the firearms world.

Bear71, Nope, I'm farther south, though it still is pretty cold down here in Louisiana this week!

I get to Brainerd now and then to do work for a couple of TV shows I host and direct. Don't think I want to fly up there right now, though.

Brrrrrrr!!

>> he knows everyone who is anyone in the firearms world.<<

Well, I cheated. I've been around the industry for a long time. Started writing outdoor stuff when I was 16, and had a syndicated newspaper column when I was 18. I'm now 55, so I've been hanging around, meeting folks, for a while.

The show on Sunday was great! The real coup was getting Tom Taylor, of Smith & Wesson, and Bob Morrison, of Taurus, in the booth, on the air, at the same time. The running joke from those who heard about it was wanting to know if I checked them for funtional guns. They were great, getting along and cracking jokes.

We also had Sandy Froman, president of the NRA; Randy Brooks, president of Barnes Bullets; Steven Sims, president of Limbsaver; Tom Munson, from Trijicon; Dwight Van Brunt, from Kimber; Pat Mundy, from Leupold; Ken Jorgensen, Ruger; and Pete and Frank Brownell, from Brownells.

Soon we'll have folks from Springfield, Crimson Trace, Benelli, Simmons, and Marlin.

As you can tell, it's a lot of fun!
