Excellent! There will be some good times at the range coming up. Not much experience with Pyrodex here but I've loaded many BP metallic cartridges and follow Mike Venturino's age-old advice after shooting. I use a decapper die (does not size) to punch out the spent primer, dump them into a plastic jug with some soapy water and agitate, then rinse clean, spread on a baking pan in a low temp oven to dry, then throw them in the vibratory case cleaner. They come out looking like new and all that potentially corrosive residue is gone. Let us know how they shoot.

I will

I'm a little fuzzy on the whole crimping procedure but I'll figure it out.
They don’t look bad at all. To me the one on the far right was seated a tad deep, or the case was a bit longer than the others, but other than that tiny little deviance they should shoot just fine.

I used to load lots of 230 gr RNL bullets primarily designed for the .45 ACP in .45 Colt during my SASS days because they’re easier to load in my SA revolvers than SWC bullets are. I still shoot them over 9.0 gr Unique as I still have a bunch of them left over from back then. :)

Stay safe.

Thanks for the support!

Welcome aboard. Might want to check round #5 as it looks like it’s seated a little deeper than the rest. As for crimping, roll crimp is my preference for revolver rounds. It may be beneficial to use a separate die for roll crimping until you fully understand that process.
