Last year I had a goal of breaking 800 shooting bullseye- I had been hovering around 650 when I started and was stuck just above 750 until late last year. I finally broke 800 with an 824.
Last Monday I shot in our first bullseye league match with my Ruger MkII .22. I have not had time to practice, or even dry fire during the winter.
With my reddot wandering all over the black I still somehow managed to shoot an 806.
My goal this year is to break 850. I know how difficult that is, but I am greedy!

Wish me luck,
Jim

Congratulations! I'm still regularly in the 240s for one leg, with a personal best of 264 last season (indoor, winter - this year will hopefully be my first outdoor season).

It always feels good to set a new personal best.

So now, you need to get to Carrollton on the lst Sunday of the month and at least shoot the .22 900 at the Dallas Pistol Club. :) Good job.

CDRT, I have been told that before by a shooter who shoots both here and there. I would really like to convince my wife that I need to shoot another match.

Jim

The next match is May 4. First shot downrange is at 9:00. I usually get there by 8:30 since we have to sign in, put up a target at 50 yards, etc. They usually have a ten minute warm-up period for sighters.

If you're only shooting the .22 match, you should be done by 10:30 or so.
