Colt Woodsman. I was about three years old. Dad held me in his lap and let me pull the trigger. I do not know if I acutally hit what we were supposed to be shooting.

a high standard sport king .22cal pistol when I was around 7or 8 years old.By the time I was 14 I could take the head off a grouse with that pistol.

Ruger Single 6 with 22LR when I was about 4 or 5. I remember standing down the road at my uncles house he was building and my dad standing behind me with one hand on my shoulders and one hand underneath mine while I shot at a can about 6 feet away on the ground. Missed the first one, got the rest.

My kids (all three 8,6, and almost 4 at the time) got to shoot my Beretta Neos 22LR in my parent's back yard when I was home on leave this past summer. My oldest daughter got the can on the first hit and then popped the rest of the magazine into it. Of course, I had a set of red dots on it, so it wasn't real hard. But still. My son and youngest daughter both shot it once because their sister did, but didn't like the recoil so they didn't shoot it again. Thinking about that, I think I might have to take them all out and do it again :)

M1 Carbine. I was all of maybe 3 years old. I can vaguely remember it. My dad had to hold both me and the gun up. The gun was on my shoulder and I was the one aiming. (Think I missed.) But till this day there is a special place in my heart for the M1 style action (Carbine Garand and Minis). And I loathe the ARs and AKs.

6 inch Colt revolver chambered in .32 Police Positive. Got it when my father died--it will not knock over the plates on my rack from 10 feet! Hard to believe it was once standard issue for many police--and they thought they were well armed!

Single barrel H&R 410, I got for my 4th B-day and I remember how big that gun felt and how loud it was.
All of my Boy's got one for their 4th B-days.
My daughter wanted a PINK Cricket 22lr  Go Figure.

a ruger 10/22, before that it had been all bb guns and painball guns. Sometimes I wonder how much more money I would have had if I had never been introduced to this "horrible" addiction (By horrible I mean the most awesometastic thing EVAR ^_^ )

It was either a Ruger Single Six or a Sterling semi in .22, that was 29 years ago
so I don't exactly remember. IIRC dad brought both of those out that day.

The first firearm I fired was an LAR Grizzly Big Boar .50. Seriously. I had fired with BB and air guns in the past but the first firearm I ever shot was after being taken out into the Mojave desert with a couple of gun nuts who had trunks full of firearms and ammo. The grizz was the first to come out.

I started buying firearms as soon as I got home from my trip out west.

The single shot .410 Mossberg Bolt action that is in my gunsafe right now. That was about 1955. Also shot my first deer with it,..a lot of squirrel, rabbits,..and many a pheasant and partridge with it.....admittedly not always on the wing....wth,..I was young,..and we were hungry. It was my mothers gun. I still have both. Mom,...and her gun. The gun works fine,..but Mom's getting a bit cranky.

I guess my Daisy BB Gun doesn't count, so the answer would be the single shot 20 gauge my grandfather gave me for Christmas when I was 10.

M60 fully automatic when i was around 5 i believe. it was loaded with blanks though at pease airforce base.
