Will add background sound, scripted delays later. Just testing the concept for now. Try it. I will refine this presentation later and make more complex interactive items as well.

Uh, Oleg, I like your stuff, but please don't go overboard with the Flash on the site. I always rip the Schlockwave out of any browser that I care about using. Some of it's good, but 99% is just annoying and slows down page loads.

I turn off GIF animations too. Same reasons.

I agree with Darkmind, needs to be slowed down.

Also, is he a police officer? If that is the intent you might want to use a more classically uniformed officer. This guy kind of just looks like a security guard.

Here's a paramedic. I had to obscure the patch.

This entire item is just something that came to mind late at night, not anything final. Real presentaions would be more refined and easier to read. I won't overload my site with Flash, but might make some optional. This allows for less sound-bitey format than the posters.

Not bad.

You might want to start making Bios of your models. It might help make them more real. The Paramedic, I was thinking security guard, with the blue shirt. Of course, paramedics in my area wore white. I was wondering why he was wearing IWB...

You might also want to take advantage of linking. Make it connect to a page outlining an incident where a paramedic either had to use a firearm in self defense, or were subject to a pattern of crimes that would make carrying make sense. I remember hearing about a city where they were getting false 911 calls so that they could rob the ambulance of the drugs.

The words were running at a nice speed for me, but then, I could read the old bulletin boards when the modems operated at 9600kbs...

I'm a fast reader... You might want to make it a tad slower.

I'd slow the text down just a touch. I'm a fast reader, but I felt a bit rushed reading it.

Other wise looks good.

You could probably even convert some of your existing posters into flash like that, if you still have the original image layers. (Which, I'm betting you do for most of them!)

I do agree with the keep it simple approach. And this is that. :)

You can tween him moving right, up, and getting smaller with just the start and end keyframes. That would make it a lot smoother, and maybe upping the fps.

Nice text, but just what the others said...slow it down.

For me, the semi-small text on the left is a little odd...oh well don't worry about it.

What I do have to ponder is the connection with firearms...

Here's a paramedic. I had to obscure the patch.

It's still very obviously an AMR patch. I know of no EMS organizations that allow carrying of firearms. You don't want the guy to get in trouble. I say use someone without a uniform. Makes it less confusing.

Page still there Oleg? It gave me an error.

I detest flash for most part unless I choose to use and watch - like others, it strikes me as representing a page burden all too often when there is no choice. It has its place tho and I have used it for tech graphic animations on the web usefully, where it is smaller in size than say GIF animations.
