I just bought this little honey yesterday.
It's a Model 53, 25-20 WCF.
They were only made from 1924 to 1932, when the great depression ended production.
There were fewer then 25,000 total made.
This one is serial #23XX, made in 1924 according to the date on the barrel under the magazine tube, & shipped in 1925 according to serial number tables.
It is basically a Model 92 action, with a light 22" Nickle Steel barrel and button magazine.
OAL is 39" and it weighs just 6lb, 7oz..
It has a Marbles Tang sight, but other then that is perfectly stock and none of the screws have ever been buggered.
