I'm looking for some help on a holster for an HK P7 PSP.

I bought a cheap shoulder holster for a full sized handgun this winter. It worked perfectly as a carry solution while shoveling snow. I like the shoulder holster carry method so much that I want to buy a Galco Classic Lite and carry an HK P7 PSP. My problem is that they don't make a classic lite specifically for the P7. So I'm looking for a holster for another model gun that the P7 will fit in well. I know that the P7 has unique balance do to the design, but I think the thumb strap will keep it in place.

Does any one have a holster for another gun in which the P7 PSP fits well? A holster with a thumb strap would be perfect.

I use a Galco SIL248B which is made for a SIG P229. It's not a very tight fit but the strap holds it well. It's not a shoulder holster, so I know it's not what you asked about, but maybe a shoulder holster for a P229 would work.

The Alessi looks like an incredible option, but it's way out of my budget. The classic lite is about a 1/3rd of the price.

I'll keep the P229 in mind. Thanks for the tip.

I'm hoping a few more recommendations come over.

May I suggest a cautious note while using the HK P7 in a holster. Use a holster specifically made for this gun. While a holster for a different gun may fit, due to the nature of the trigger action of the P7, there is a potential of a negligent discharge waiting to happen.

If you don't mind thinking outside the box, the Ken Null SMZ is an awesome holster...the popular legend was that the letters stood for SMERSH

The Null holster does look interesting. The pictures on the website aren't great, so I watched a couple of videos. It looks like the barrel sits forward of your arm, and would create a considerable bulge. Am I off base? I'm looking for something that I can wear under a loose fitting button down shirt in the summer.

Bianchi makes their x16 for a p7:

There's also these guys:

I think you'd be better off leaving Galco behind and getting a holster made for your pistol. It's not like Galco is pumping out top of the line custom leather anyway.
I was excited by the Bianchi, but It doesn't look like they actual make the X16 for the P7. When I select the make and model a message pops up that the holster isn't made for the P7.

The other link takes me to the Falco holster page. I've heard mixed reviews on these. I only personally know one person who has used one. He said it fell apart very quickly.

Thank you for pointing both of these out. I wasn't aware of either.

Yes, you are.

The SMZ carries the barrel/slide in the hollow of your shoulder with the profile being hidden by your pectoral muscles on one side and your bicep on the other,

It was originally designed to carry a MAC-11 machine pistol under a suit coat. I would think it could be concealed pretty easily under an unbuttoned shirt.

Given the conditions that you'd utilize it under, that you've now added, I definitely think the Alessi Bodyguard is the best solution

The Alessi does seem like a great option. Maybe I will save my penny's until I can afford it.

Does anyone else have a P7 that fits well in another holster?
