I'm thinking about picking on up brand new for about 1100. Anything you guys can tell me about it? I don't know anyone who has one to fire. How does it handle? How's the recoil on that 5.7x28? Smooth function? Any feedback would be awesome guys.

Most will tell you that the recoil is softer than a 9mm. As for the price, there was a thread last week wear people were saying they find new ones for around 900.

I don't own one, but I have put a couple of magazines down range. The recoil is almost nonexistent. Very soft.
I worked the slide an played just a little with one at Gander when i was in getting fishing line. Man, is that weapon pretty! Another thing is you can actually find ammo for it which is pretty nice. I think I'm going to pick it up. Thanks Guys! I'll post pictures and let you all know how it goes.

I have about 1000 rds through mine. No problems so far. Very low recoil. Fun shooter. You can get magazines for it that hold 30-rd, although I don't own any. Barrel life is rated for 20K rounds.

I'd check the used market, you may find a deal, otherwise $1100 sounds to be about the going price for a new one.
Recoil is very low, nothing like a 9mm, maybe a .32acp, if that.
They are loud, even outside.
I wish the trigger were a bit better, mine's a little "spongy".
These are very well made pistols, very reliable, very accurate.
Ammo is pretty easy to find.

I have one. It's my wife's favorite centerfire pistol. She likes the low recoil and she actually likes how the safety is placed where you disengage it with your trigger finger.
I'm not sold on the cartridge myself, especially the civvie-legal stuff and out of the short pistol barrel. But, she likes it and it *has* to be a step up from her Ruger Mk II .22LR.
It is a very loud gun and the only handgun I've ever fired where you can consistently see the muzzle flash in daytime.

Ammo is easy to find for these. Also easy to burn thru a couple hundred rounds without blinking. Fun to shoot. Amazingly accurate. Trigger is moderate for a factory weapon as others has said. Not terrible, not great. Not the easiest round to reload, but can be done. Overall great handgun.

Great Gun, Accutate, light recoil, Quality piece.
The trigger on mine was a little rough when new , but a little polish, lube, and breakin time has cured that.

One of the most "fun" sidearms you'll ever shoot. I let my CCW instructor's
youngest son shoot mine, and the kid was grinning from ear to ear the
whole time. And there's no doubt that you will experience "ammo shock"
at the range. My first time out with it, I was through 200+ rounds before
I even knew what was happening. Ya just gotta keep telling yourself
to slow down, and enjoy.
