Howdy all, my first post here. I must say I do like what I see here, some really good stuff.

I started off at Frugals (blackdog there), then to AW, now, I just mainly chat at night at servicerifles. In fact, I was referred there by one of the members here and I am glad he pointed me here, looks great with good info.

FYI, I am big into FAL's, Glocks and survivalism as well. I also love weightlifting, physical fitness, guitar and I love keeping my eye on the anti-gunners in Washington. :D I am Christian, Libertarian and a military brat as well (father was USAF for 26 years).

Anyway, thought I would say hello and introduce myself.

As far as keeping an eye on anti-gunners in D.C., you're lucky. You're across the country in TX. I'm way too close in VA to these Marxist swine. They smell, too. :barf: :D

eh, never happen with me, love em both, even though I own 3 glocks, I would LOVE to have a 1911. Personally, I think the 1911 is the most gorgeous handgun ever made (I know alot of folks like the luger, but never did it for me to be honest). Ironically, on the opposite spectrum, I love my glocks, what I call the "bulldog" of handguns. "They are so ugly they are pretty." :D

shoot? I shoot at the Haltom City Rifle and Pistol Club. Used to shoot bullseye until I blew out my shoulder at a meet. Now I just throw lead downrange. Welcome....chris3

Hey, bd.....

I am 59 and took the state title last year with 1100 lbs. Did not compete this year, had surgery on my nose, not the MJ kind, and was not healed up in time to train.....chris3
