Oh No, it's the segway platoon. We'll never be able to escape if we keep this light powerwalk up.

My counter-measure, anti-terrorist segway threat remover....

What's really funny is that there is a pic on the front page of my hometown paper of a police officer riding one in a 4th of July parade.

Everyone laughs until they ride one of the things.

I played golf a few weeks ago at a course that had these as an option for the golf cart so I had to try it.

After a few minutes learning curve I found them to be exceptionally maneuverable. The one I rode had off road balloon tires and went everywhere I wanted to go. They are ridiculously fast too.

I was shocked. If they weren't $5000 I'd think about buying one.

Is that red thing between the wheels the laser designator for guiding missiles?

No, thats the FLIR targeting system thats linked to a in helmet display... Its also connected to skynet

Man I can see a day when those guys are rolling down our streets, luckily we will have an ample supply of Chinese rope to trip them up.

Can someone tell me what the HELL purpose a police department has for FLAMETHROWERS? Anti-terrorism is one thing, but that's pretty far beyond overkill for even a Bruce Willis film.

Worked pretty well for mountain/jungle MG/arty nest in the 40's by American troops. I see how it could be applied to a police force. China has jungles and whatnot. Rebels can easily make them.

The way the officers have to "mount" the Segway, it reminds me of Mr. Garrison's (South Park) "IT".

Not sure what to say about the Segways

Think the newsgal on SNL said it best?
"This is going to revolutionize the way people get their ass run over in traffic!" :D

Wow, it IS possible to make a segway even dumber!

You never know when you'll run into a group of people who are suspected of having an unregistered full auto or hellfire trigger and need to burn em alive in a small town in Texas...for teh children.
