Franchi?

What model?

I have a 912, 712 and a 20 ga 48 AL. Never so much as a hiccup out of any of them (that wasn't my fault). I have forgetten to turn the piston around in the 912 a few times. It doesn't like light loads like that. But when it's right, it'll cycle 7/8 oz loads.

I'm wanting to get a 720 and another 48 AL in 28 ga.

I suppose it depends on the Franchi being discussed - are we talking about 48AL's, I-12s, double guns, or something else?

I have two, both stack barrel 20ga. I think they are as good as or better than anything at their price point. Fit and finish are not the same as a Kohler or Perrazi, but there are a lot less numbers after the $.

Sorry guys; didn't look at a model number :uhoh: It was a 12 guage semi auto camo model. Not looking for a 3 gun or anything, just a shotgun to have.

Wife's got a 720 youth. Runs fine, goes bang every time and cycles trap loads without a hiccup. No complaints.

Had an old 20 Franchi, it just shot and shot, very reliable with any load, swing and handling were good. Kick was a little strong but you could carry one all day. Ended up selling to a buddy, when I had my eye on a Berretta 390 12. Love the 390, but should have never sold the 20.
