I can see where you're coming from.regardless of cost, the Beretta 92 is a gun I shoot well,
You just need more "range time".Others that I've shot over the years haven't. It's an individual thing - kinda like a woman.
Nonsense, how long have snubbies been around? Look at the old pepper boxes. Gamblers and the like often needed hideout guns. Most people with small guns did not carry large guns. We just have better ones than they did a hundred or more years ago.No, they are not new, but all along for the most part, they were not used as the "only" gun, like many now are, and were used as a second or third gun, as some of us still use them.
These days, it seems for many, the gun is more of a fashion accessory or once again, a status thing among peers, than it is a tool. Those big old war horses, are just sooo out of style dont you know, and dont fit in well with todays "mod" fashions.
That would be me, full sized Norinco M1911 or a Browning Hi Power.Sometimes I wonder if the people who say all you need is a good belt to carry a full-size pistol. Have really conceal carried a full-size steel gun. All day, all week, all month, etc?
I suppose experiences may vary. Most everyone I know growing up and many I am, or have been associated with later on in life, carry/carried the smaller gun primarily as a back up to the larger gun. Then again, those people (me included) all carried those guns all day, everyday, and not just when it suited them or they felt the need. Im wearing a Glock 17 and a 26 as I type this, as I do most days now. I also carry a Seecamp on a pretty regular basis to boot. Most people with small guns did not carry large guns.
The fact that youre questioning this, tells me you havent and dont on a daily basis.Sometimes I wonder if the people who say all you need is a good belt to carry a full-size pistol. Have really conceal carried a full-size steel gun.
If youre being reminded, you dont have the right gear.A gun that doesn't remind me all day long its on my hip.
True, but a full sized gun will usually do everything (but being tiny) better overall, and with little, if any, extra effort. No one gun will fill all the roles required.
