Our campaign to be your next State Senator is gaining momentum.
We will be formally rolling out our campaign website (
www.MitchellKaye.com) next week. Finishing touches are being made to the site. It already includes video and audio of House debate, plus TV footage in addition to news articles, policy positions, etc. I have been told that it probably has the most detailed and informative content of any legislative web site. My candidacy is about a proven record, not rhetoric. Please let me know what you think. Your input and feedback are always important to me.
Recently we mailed our first campaign piece to many households in the district. The response has been phenomenal as people really appreciate my 10 year track record of cutting taxes, improving education and trying to keep our streets safe from violent criminals. It was an expensive piece, but well worth it. We couldn't reach all the 150,000 people of the district due to budgetary constraints so it was a targeted mailing.
As of today, there are only 53 days until the July 20th primary. This is one of the most Republican districts in the whole state, so the race will be decided in the primary. We hope to send out other pieces of mail as well as use other means in reaching voters, but the extent depends on our financial resources.
