Garand & M14 Front Sight

Are the M1 Garand and M14/M1A front sights interchangeable? If not, what's the difference between the two? Any input is appreciated.

I don't think so because the Garand has a longer barrel/sight radius than the M14 making the front post shorter than the M14s front post.

Dovetails are different in size and orientation.
The sights are not interchangeable.
