Does anyone know what JHP Georgia Arms uses in their canned heat line? I know they are backordered- but I recently purchased a few hundred rounds of their 38 special ammo and was very pleased.

I'm a 1911 shooter for 45s, and would like to know what JHP style they use in their 185gr and 200gr loading to ensure it feeds in as many of my guns as possible before I spend a couple hundred bucks.

As an aside- has anyone sent in brass to GA for a discount? If so, do you recall how much of a discount they offer? I have some 223, 9mm, 40sw, and some 45 acp I could part with if it would help me save a few bones.

Thanks in advance- I tried searching and if this was discussed, I used the wrong terms as I couldn't find it.

I've used almost nothing but Georgia Arms ammo in my handguns for years with no problems at all. I highly recommend them. But I only live 30 min. from the factory door and they have tables at all gunshows so I don't have to deal with shipping costs.

I've never seen the canned heat, how many come in the can, what type of bullet are available, and how much are they normally priced? Could be worth it to trade in some of my extra brass since I'm still on the fence about reloading .45 ACP.
