getting started

It may well come down to a matter of availability. Hornady LNL setups (peripheral equipment) are a little tricky to find right now. Go ahead, check the Hornady website. Besides, something just sings to me about the die plate setup on the RCBS (which I have discovered a progressive press ALL INCLUSIVE kit for). Of course there's a ways to go. Working on tumblers at the moment. Thinking Lyman (110 Volt).

Both the Hornady LNL and case feeder are available at Midway today. Shell plates, dies and bushings are all available as well.

Speaking as a rookie reloader, I just got a Hornady LnL AP last week from Graf & Sons and I'm pretty happy with it so far. Definitely a more solid and precise piece of machinery than what I had before it. Like any set up it's got it's own idiosyncrasies, but none seem that significant or difficult to work with or correct. It's definitely a good deal for the money you pay. The new ones also come with both the rifle and pistol powder rotors and metering inserts for the powder measure as well as a powder baffle.

Hey Altitude_19,

You need to look into what the military may have for purchasing options through "Special Services" and also check into the "Rod & Gun Clubs" at any military bases near where you maybe stationed once state side. I know Hill AFB & Fort Hood had these facalities with some great deals for our military troops and their families.

I've had my RCBS Rockchucker for 20+ years and it is great for what I use it for, but my Hornady L-N-L AP press with the Case Feeder is even better (planning to upgrade with the RCBS Bullet Feeder for the LNL press - see the ultimatereloader videos)!

Thanks for your service and stay save.
