Giving back for the holidays and showing others that gun owners are a delightfully helpfull bunch (maybe pushing it).
This is my idea that may already be in practice somewhere, but I will throw it out here so ya'll can use it.
A bunch of shooting fellas get together at their local range and organize a free toy assembly.
Most toys only need basic tools that can go in your trunk or truck bed.
Most people bringing in toys to be assembled will be women (i guess) and it will demonstrate that we gun owners are above par.
You can call your local radio stations and alert them to what you are doing. I would not say anything about a shooting range - just FREE TOY ASSEMBLY Saturday from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at such and such address for more info call xxx-xxxx. Flyers work too and they can go up at local toy stores.
I think this a great oppurtunity to give back and put shooting sports in a good light.
AND...you can shoot if you don't have any toys to put together.
