I like both, I own both and I regularly shoot both. If you want a classic looking gun get the sig. If you don't want to fuss over wiping your firearms down get the glock.
I don't want to get into trigger pulls and all that, and reliability is also a wash. I've seen both guns fail (not mine of course) and I've seen both put through ridiculous tests and run like tops.
I will say that on average the sig will be more accurate. Your average shooter probably won't know the difference, but I've always been one to buy things better than my level as to improve.
Either way, both will serve you well. And you should probably pick up both at some point. One should fit your hand better since they are so different, so in the end I'd say get the one that "feels" right.
