Hey guys picking up a new gun this weekend. Was just wondering everybody else's opinion is on the Glock 30SF and Glock 30. What pros/cons each has over the other. How you like the feel of each, etc...
Thanks in advance folks

The only difference is grip dimensions. You should give no thought to what others prefer but instead go with fits your hands best and better yet try firing each if you can.

Oh my mind's already made up. I've shot both and decided which one I'm comfortable with. I just wanted some other people's opinions. It's a general discussion topic so I figured let's discuss

get the non-SF. the SF still has FRTRB problems as evidenced be threads as recent as last week on glocktalk. many theories, but no solutions.

this is why i bought the glock 29 non-sf despite my really small hands.

I felt no significant difference in handling between the G30 and G30SF when I tried both prior to purchase. Since the SF model was having the return to battery problems at the time, I went with the standard model. This problem may have been resolved with later models. I don't know of any other issues with either gun.

I bought the SF version about a year ago if that long and never have from day one had any FTRTB or any other issues. Maybe it's hit and miss on this model but fortunately, Ive had no feed problems or ejection issues.

correct. it doesn't affect all g30/29 sf's. sometimes it starts at around 1,000 round count too. happened with my buddy's g30sf. streamlight also mentioned this in their research.

I have a G30 and it feels so good in my hands and is so utterly reliable and accurate that I wouldn't dream of trading it for a G30SF for an ever so slightly shorter grip frame.

The G30 is a dream .45. One of the very best Glock models you can buy, in my view.

If there are potential issues related with the G30SF, then I would wholeheartedly recommend choosing a G30 and never looking back!
