Anyone have feedback and/or suggestions on an after market barrel for a Glock 20C?

A close friend with 1st Gen G20, swears by his Bar-Sto 6" barrel.

We're talking thousands of rounds, of naked lead hand-loads.

Other good brands are:

Storm Lake
Lone Wolf
KKM

I've been looking around and haven't found any that are for the 20C - the compensated model.
I was going to try some lead reloads - hence the after market barrel.

My Glock is a Gen3 which from what I have read doesn't have such a pronounced issue of the unsupported chamber at 6 o'clock. I took the barrel out and dropped a round in that had black marker around the rim in order to measure the unsupported area. With digital calipers I get around .252" when measuring from the base/bottom of the case to the area that was unsupported.
How does this compare to after market barrels?

KKM also has a ported available for the 20, bought a 6"KKM from GlockMeister some 3 yrs back for shooting lead. It is a match barrel. Glockworx has barrels, believe I seen one that was ported as well. Some dragon name brand of barrel or something rather.

Not sure if he has a barrel for the compensated Glock, but, I've got a Bar-Sto .45 acp barrel for the G21 that is fantastic!!!!!!!!
Thousands of rounds through it.

Lone Wolf is also getting GREAT reviews, across the street at another forum.

ordered a G20 barrel from KKM because it's a drop-in...Bar Sto says theirs are semi drop in ...not sure what that means.

Although mine is not ported, I did put a KKM conveesion bbl in my G20 and am ecstatic with it. It shoots consistently inside of 3.5" at 50 yards and pretty much always one-hole groups at close range like 15 yards and less.

Echoing the Lone Wolf barrels comment - I've fired thousands of (handloaded) rounds through mine in a G21SF without any issues.

On some of Bar-Sto's barrels, the underside of the locking area (proper term??) is oversize.

A little (literally) stoning will get the barrel a perfect fit.

It took me about 20 to 30 minutes of fitting to get my Bar-Sto barrel to fit with an incredible lock-up.

KKM's website is apparently down...

Lone Wolf has ported aftermarket barrels for G20:

I think you'll find Lone Wolf's pricing the sharpest, and they're an excellent company to deal with!

You can put a non-ported barrel in a compensated Glock, but you should not put a ported barrel in a non-compensated Glock.

Some owners of compensated Glocks drop in an aftermarket, non-ported barrel, for self-defense use, as they don't want those upward gas jets in that application. When this is done, the gun shoots and behaves like a non-compensated model.

Drop in barrels are just that--good to go, as is.

Semi-drop in, or fitted barrels, require some filing and fitting before they're ready for use.
