I shot a few hundred rounds through my Gen 3 Glock 22 and 27 on Wednesday at my annual firearms qualification.
My Glock 22 has been flawless with it's TLR-1 weaponlight since 2004ish.
With the exception of a couple operator induced stoppages, from not fully seating a fresh mag, my Glock 27 has been flawless with both of it's mags and all 7 of my Glock 22 mags. I use the G22 mags in the G27 when shooting from the 25 yard line, so I can get my pinky finger some purchase.
Never a non-operator induced stoppage with either Glock. Since the G27's magwell is recessed in my strong hand, I always double check that the fresh mag is fully inserted and seated with the G27.
I don't even look at my Glock 22 anymore. It's a part of me.
My pair are flawless in operation, capable of a lot of firepower (15X .40S&W w/o reload), lightweight, and cost less than $400 new. I don't know if that's perfection, but it's a fine duty weapon.
BTW, I'm a lefty and manage to work the Gen 3 Glocks like a pro depite my handicap.
FWIW, I don't really shoot my Glocks much for pleasure. Despite their fine duty attributes, they have no soul. I *enjoy* shooting my rimfires and my assorted .44 Rem Mags and handloads much more.
