I just sent letters in support of two different pro-gun bills. It's great for busy people who find it difficult to draft letters for every bill that comes up.

http://capwiz.com/gunowners/home/

The site provides an editable letter for support of pro-gun bills and will automatically email the letter to your Senators and Representatives.

makes it easy on the IT guys at the .gov addresses too... all they have to do is set up the spam filter to filter from one address... and im guessing it didnt take long before that was done... it would surprise me if any of the letters sent through the GOA get received by their intended offices...

letters and phone calls will be a much better way to go

It's worth noting that the GOA site will also compose and address printable versions for you to send out.

Maybe some of them. I get responses from all my congress critters when I use capwiz to write them.

GOA site gives option to print. Do both.

I've gotten responses from legislators about specific bills and about how they plan to take my letter into consideration. Those results are from using the so-called worst option, which is emailing directly from the site. If anybody's interested, I can scan in and post a letter.

capwiz appears to be a 3rd party solution (ie. not something developed by GOA) so it's probably not in the best interest to block them because emails probably come from their servers for many different issues. (most likely including anti-gun) So I doubt they will be blocked.

Just tried it today, very cool tool. Though I doubt any mailings will change the minds of my concress critters (in the PRNJ) but when it's this easy, it's worth at least trying.
