Went into my LGS today, which normally tends to be costly. Came across this Savage Model 333 and it just followed me home. 26" barrels choked IC and Mod. This gun was made in the mid 70s for Savage by Valmet. Today Valmet is known as Tikka. It is the same as the Valmet 412S. At $400, I couldn't pass it up. The previous owner bought it new andit sat in a spare room closet its whole life, never been shot. I plan to remedy that soon. Any further info anyone can offer would be appreciated. Also, the wood seens to be a tad dry. Not wanting to change finish, but would something like lemon oil be good for this, or are there better options? 20210623_193327.jpg 20210623_193327.jpg

Dang! Nice find. I would think lemon oil or BLO would be fine on the stock.
