Good Deal?

LNIB Savage Model 10 with accutrigger in .243 with Simmons * Point 3-9*40 Scope for 80 bucks? I pulled the scope and put on a Bushnell SportView I had.

Of course, its a great deal.

Been looking to get into a bolt gun for a while and this seemed like a good way to go. .243 was not the caliber I was looking for but what are you going to do. Thank goodness for young men who do not understand what they want and are anxious for cash to buy the next thing they want.

$80 for the gun screams "Hot, Hot, Hot". If you had the police run the serial number and it came back OK then no worries I guess unless it hasn't been reported stolen yet.

Did you get a receipt and do you know the person that sold it?

If everything is on the up and up, then you are the robber, 'cause you robbed that guy. Heck most people around here would want $80 just for the scope.

I considered it, but it was a FTF transaction, so who knows for absolutely certain. It was a young man who thought he wanted a bolt-action, but then realized that he wanted an AK variant and needed some cash to buy the AK. Store was closing soon. I had to go with my gut. I questioned him pretty closely about his purchase of the rifle and it seemed legitimate. I know the store he bought the AK from so I have his info if I need it.
