We finaly had some god shooting weather here in Michigan this weekend so I took advantage of it and went to the range with a few of my rifles. I shot some nice groups but one that I’ really proud of. I showed a few people but no one seems to really apreaciate it, so I thought I would post it here. I know you guys will apreaciate it.

Nice shooting! That's what my mental picture looks like as I'm peering thru the scope. Problem is my mental pictures never develop!:banghead:

Fantastic group! I really like the .223 too , my two are a 700 LTR and Savage 12BVSS. Was out shooting the Savage yesterday , with a new load shot a couple groups in the .4" range , the groups look gigantic compared to your group! Yeah there was another thread concerning MOA rifles , according to the mindset there your group is not possible!

This is not my adverage group. I can almost always hold a .3" to .4" group with it though. The group that I posted is what this rifle is capable of if everthing goes right (e.g. no wind, moon , stars, etc, oh and of corse the part between the bench seat and the trigger).

Looks like you'd better torque down the bedding screw. Maybe that will improve your group. Yea my mini 14 can do that all day long, but only at 5 yards or so and that's if I let the bbl. cool between shots.

This is not my average group. I can almost always hold a .3" to .4" group with it though.

Yeah, I knew you were posting one of those rare, "When the Planets Align" groups! Stilll there are some that could never shoot a group like that even with a dedicated benchrest rifle. Regardless , shooting in the .3s and .4s is excellent for a factory rifle.

Sako is a great riflemaker - had one of their rimfire Finnfire Varmint rifles in 22lr. I never believed a 22lr could so accurate at 100yards - in a incredible display of stupidity I traded it , wish I had that one back!

GREAT shooting.

You have a great rifle no doubt, but like a wise man once said...
"It's the singer, not the song".....:)
