Just as an update for those that were interested in my last thread postings about my kidney stone issues; here's the good news.
I had my last procedure yesterday and the surgeon broke up the last fragments with the laser and removed the internal stint. So All is Well.

The plan at this point is to drink plenty of water everyday and maybe even the occasional beer as suggested by those in the know.

I follow up with a specialist in a few weeks who is going to do all sorts of tests to determine what, if any buffering agents and such and dietary changes that will help to avoid this ongoing plague of these dam things.
4 procedures in the last 3 months is enough and at this point I am detrmined to keep these things away.

Also I wanted to say Thanks to all who had me in mind througout all of this and the well wishes and prayers that have been sent on my behalf.

EXCELLENT NEWS!

I know health issues can be mentally draining besides the physical ordeal.

Now, get back to work

:)

I missed the thread about the stone. Wow, sounds like you've been suffering the last few months. I've never had to deal with them but I hear it's not pleasant. Glad you're on the mend!

It was here: http:www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=560391&highlight=missouri+bullets+buys+penn+bullets
The subject came up during the course of that thread and took on a life of its own as it were.
Not pleasant doesn't even come close to describing a stone attack. You litterally wish for someone to come along and end your suffering. My sister who also had stone attacks said that it akin to childbirth except the stone attack is worse. At least with childbirth you get something good out of it. (that could be debatable by some.)
