Good Rings/base for a Marlin Glenfield 25?

The top of the reciever is grooved... what scope rings should I use to go with a fixed leupold 4x scope?

i was told I need tipoff rings, but the the bolt handle seems to preclude using a real low mount. Any idea if you can mount a scope and keep a good cheekweld? I might have to stick with irons

I just bought one of these today and am curious about this also.

okay so i don't have a great answer, but I went to walmart and bought a BSA 22lr rimfire 3-7x scope for 20, and 22lr rings for 8 dollars and it's perfect.

The bell of the scope just barely clears the rear sight, and it balances perfectly.

I read that the scopes can get in the way of taking out the bolt for disassembly, any input on this?

not a problem on mine, but then i have a smallish scope
