Got a Call from Springfield Armory Today.

...because i called yesterday to get a status report, so they called today to say that the work had been complete. the replaced the "trigger bar" and they had recoated and refinished the pistol with the armor coat treatment. i also said that i would love for them to instal a set of nights sights while it was there, i have always wanted to do it, and why not now, better time than ever. so i did have to pay for the night sights which btw are trijicon 3 dot green type. the lady said that it will be shipped out in a few days.

if everything is as i imagine, i will be a very very happy dude. i am already excited by the sounds of it. i will continue to keep everyone up to date. i'll let you know about the finish and give a range report after i shoot it again.

Springfield IMHO has some of the nicest and most helpful people in the business working for them. Every experience with them has been excellent. That is a major reason I continue to buy from them.

i don't remember there names, as soon as they tell me my mind goes blank, the only guy i remember is jim mills iirc ? but he is the guy from ruger. they were definetly always helpful and friendly as anyone could ever ask for. they made the whole thing alot better than it could have been, and alot more peacful than i have experience with with other companies. to say the least i am happy!
