I've just starting to get into reloading and with my new Dillon 550B I've loaded .223 Rem for my AR with Dillon dies and 9mm Luger for use in a pistol useing Lee dies. Seems I like the Lee dies better as they are easier to set up. This is the only relaoding equipment I've ever used.
The Used Stuff I Bought...
Few days ago I picked up some used stuff and may have gotten burned a little.
-For $4 I got a new/like new RCBS trickler made from aluminum. Not bad.
-For $5 I got an RCBS .17 to .45 inside/outside case mouth burring tool, RCBS #09349 that are $15-$20 new. Not bad.
-For $15 got an excellent working condition Lyman Universal case trimmer but is missing a few pilots, two of which that I need. This trimmer is $50-$68 new. New pilots are about $4 ea.
-Wher i got burned was on Dies...for $15 I got Lyman deprimer/resizing die and a neck expander die for .45 Auto. They came in the original orange Lyman box with part #7680107. When I got home I realized there was no seating die! The 2 dies I have are in excellent shape but not good for much without the bullet seater!
From what I have seen, used reloading stuff is usually in well kept condition and its either good or it isn't.
