Hi all, now that I have my CCW I am thinking about a DAO revolver for my truck. I am looking for a GP-100 3" Mr. Clements said he could do a 10mm conv. I think this would be best as a 10mm:D, DAO no spur or sights to snag, GP-100 revolver no springs to worry about or dirt to stop it. My question is this is it possible to make a slick DAO out of a GP? Meaning a short trigger pull in DAO almost like a Glock I guess, hard at first but short trigger pull and fast reset. I tried to find a thread I thought was here about Actions by T changing the geo. or something on GP's I have yet to ask Mr. Clements this just wanted y'alls feedback on it or who would know this.
Thank You

Man, that's going to be an expensive "truck gun" when you're done with it... I'm guessing you're talking about $500 worth of custom work not counting the cost of the revolver. I think it would be cheaper to find a used Glock 20 if you want a 10mm truck gun.

I'm sure he can make the trigger very smooth and lighter than it would otherwise be, but the reset distance and the length of the DA trigger travel are hard to change.

I've got a DAO GP100 and I don't find the trigger objectionable like it is, but I don't think anything's going to turn it into a trigger like you'd find in a Glock.

357 is plenty as it is and the factory 3" GP-100 would make an excellent truck gun. GP is my house gun. Too big (fat & heavy) for normal conceled carry.
